Mandate

CCRA is mandated to regulate the cultivation of cannabis plant, extraction, refining, manufacturing and sale of derivatives of the plant for medicinal and industrial use. The Authority shall cater for the complex requirements of domestic and international laws across all activities related to the monitoring, reporting, cultivation, extraction, manufacturing, transport, marketing, sales and export of cannabis plant for industrial as well as medicinal and therapeutic purposes.
