Objectives

The Objective for establishing of  the authority is:

1. To oversee all activities related to industrial and medicinal cannabis licensing and monitoring including but not limited to: cultivation, extraction, manufacturing, transport, and marketing and sales for medical and therapeutical purposes.
2. To reduce illicit trafficking through regularization/legalization of the prevailing cannabis growing areas in the newly merged districts along with the government controlled extraction and better margin directly to farmers; alleviate poverty, control crime related to illicit drug production and trafficking.
3. To address the negative social and health impact of unregulated cannabis, focusing on the reduction of addiction and unsafe use of plant products by establishing state of the Art Drug Rehab Centers in the affected areas.
